I really admire those folks with passion and commitment to their art. This roadside attraction at 18212-18414 22nd Avenue, Tacoma (Spanaway) is an example of such personal drive. It is on a private residence with good visibility from the street. The property fronts on both 22nd Avenue (the rose) and 183rd Street Court East and my Roadside America App tells me the work is called Concrete Fantasia.
The Tacoma Musical Playhouse at 7116 Sixth Avenue, Tacoma has a great exterior wall showing a variety of customers waiting in a cheerful line for their admissions. Their website is here tmp.org/
Life Center on Union Avenue has devoted a corner of its property to a 9.11 Memorial. On both sides of a freestanding wall people have written their memories and reflections. There are words from children too young to remember the day and from adults that were affected. Some used the preprinted cards and filled in their memories and other brought their own paper.
